Everyone wants to aloo paratha in their breakfast. It is favorite dish of Punjabi people. They Love aloo paratha. S now we discuss how to make aloo paratha. this is step by step process. You can follow this recipe to make yummy aloo paratha.
Step 3.Divide stuffing into 12 equal parts and give them a shape of ball. Also divide prepared dough into 12 equal parts, give them a round shape.
Preparation Time: 25 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Serves: 4 servings (12 paratha)
Ingredients:
2 cup Wheat Flour
4 medium Potatoes, boiled and peeled
8 tablespoons finely chopped Coriander Leaves
2 teaspoon Lemon Juice
4 Green Chilli, finely chopped
2 teaspoon Garam Masala
2 teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
1 teaspoon grated Ginger
Butter, Salt, Water
4 tablespoons Oil
How to apply ingredients:
Step1. To Make dough mix 2 cup wheat flour, 2 tablespoon oil and salt. Mix them with hand in bowl. Put water into mixed material and knead smooth and soft dough . Grease its surface
with 1 teaspoon oil, cover it with clean cloth and set aside
for 15-20 minutes to settle at room temperature.
Step 2. Now make aloo paratha stuffing by mixing mashed potatoes, chopped
green chillies, red chilli powder, grated ginger, garam masala, sugar,
lemon juice and salt in small/medium size bowl. Mix all ingredients
properly.
Step 3.Divide stuffing into 12 equal parts and give them a shape of ball. Also divide prepared dough into 12 equal parts, give them a round shape.
Step 4. Take one dough aloo stuff and coat it with dry wheat flour on both sides.. Put it on rolling
board/roti making chakla and roll it out into a circle of
approx. Put one portion of stuffing
in the center of it.
Step 5. Wrap stuffing ball by lifting all sides of rolled circle towards top, seal the edges and again give it a round ball shape.
Step 6. Now press stuffed ball on rolling board and dust some dry flour over it. Roll it out into circle Do not make it very thin by pressing it too much. It should be medium in size.
Step 7. Put it on a hot tava and cook over medium flame. When tiny
bubbles starts to rise on the surface, flip it and reduce flame to low. Spread 1/2 teaspoon oil around its edge with the help of spatula and cook for approx 30-40 seconds.
Step 8. Flip it again and spread 1/2 teaspoon oil around its edge. Press it with
spatula and cook for 30-40 seconds over medium flame. Repeat flip and
press process until golden brown spots appear on both sides of paratha.
Step 9. Place it to a plate and put butter on it. Prepare remaining aloo
parathas by following same process. Serve it with raita and
pickle.
