Rajmah chawal most famous dish in Punjab. Mostly it is famous in 'Punjabi Dhaba'. Today I am going to make rajma chawal recipe on demand of my page fan 'Sonal Kadam'. Dear Sonal kadam i am making rajma chawal on your demand. You can follow these below recipe steps to make spicy and yummy rajma chawla at home.
Rajma chawal recipe

Preparation Time:- 20 Minutes
Cook Time:- 40 Hour
Serves:- 4 Serving

Ingredients:-
Rajma(kidney beans) 1 cup
Rice 1 cup
1 tbs cumin seeds
2 large onion finely chopped
2 tomato chopped
5-6 green chillies chopped
1 tbs ginger-garlic paste
1 tbs turmeric powder
1 tbs garm masala
1 red chilli powder
1 tbs coriander seeds
6-7 coriander leaves chopped
Salt to taste
Water 2 cup
2 tbs vegetable oil

Instructions:-
1) Wash rajma and rice with water 3 to 4 times.
2) Soak the rajma in water 5 hours to make soft. Discard water and keep aside.
3) Heat oil over high flame and add cumin seeds and coriander seeds. cook for 1 minutes.
4) Add onion paste mix well in oil and cook or 2 minutes.
5) Now add other ingredients chopped tomato, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste and mix well. cook for 4 minutes.
6) Add red chilli powder, garm masala and turmeric powder and mix well. Add 2 cup water and mix properly.
7) Add  soaked rajma and mix well. Cover the pressure cooker with lid. Pressure cook for 5 to 6 whistle.
8) When rajma cooking, prepare the rice, heat the water and add 2 cup water when water become too hot add soaked rice and mix well. Cook rice on medium flame for 6-7 minutes.
9) Now put coriander leaves on rajma and rice to make delicious.
10) Serve hot rajma with rice.
